TonCut enables the import of elements, materials, material groups and veneers. The program can read XLSX, XLS, ODS and CSV files. The files can follow any data structure, using any column order. Different methods can be used to import the data. These are:

• Pressing the Import button in the main view. You can also press CTRL+I.
• Dragging and dropping the files to the main window.
• Directly from Microsoft Excel - the TonCut tab shows different options for data export to TonCut. You can expert the whole sheet, the current selection only, or all sheets if needed.
• Tabular data can be copied to clipboard and pasted into TonCut using the CTRL+V shortcut.
• In File explorer you can right-click a file and select the Import to TonCut option.
